Katie Weatherston's Hockey School

We noticed a huge improvement in Naomi's stick handling and skating! She really improved as a result of your camp...and even scored a beautiful goal in her last playoff game - thank you! We were very impressed and would rec'd your camps to others.

My daughter had and I say had a problem with her skating. She skated on her outside edge. We spoke to many people and coaches about how to fix it. It was frustrating for her as it prevented her from keeping up with her teammates. It made her even not want to go to hockey sometimes.

Katie, I can’t tell you how much my daughter improved at your camp last summer. She has gone from not being able to stop at the beginning of last season to leading the league in scoring (novice house). She got a lot of that improvement and confidence from your camp. She still tells me she wants to win medals like yours!

Our daughter attended your recent Christmas Camp. She really enjoyed the experience and had a lot of fun with the coaches. She loved both the on and off-ice skills training and we noticed a big improvement in her backwards skating afterwards.

Thanks so much Katie!!  We went out for supper tonight and on the way home, Abby says: "I miss Katie already!" Lol. Abby really had a lot of fun  at your camp and learned so much. I can't believe you got her raising the puck. She hasn't done that before today. I have to say your camp is very organized, educational and tons of fun!! Can't wait till July for your summer camp!  Take care,

Reaghan loved and will be back next year !!

My daughter KJ attended your camp and I just wanted to say what an awesome experience it was for her. Her skills and her confidence have increased immeasurably and the enthusiasm that she came home with is bound to lead to even more gains. She is already mentioning that she can't wait for the season to begin!

All and all, a very positive experience for us, great coaches, great drills, tons of fun. Your personal touch is very much in evidence and adds a great deal to the experience.

This is the first “Katie Weatherston” hockey camp my daughters, Sarah (12)  and Emily (10) have attended. They have been to many different hockey camps over the years, but the girls both said “It was the best hockey camp  ever”. Sarah said that the camp was “very well organized and had very good discipline”.  The second day, Sarah asked to switch groups and you listened to her concern and addressed the manner quite nicely. Thank you, for listening and handling it. We will definitely sign the kids up for future camps.  Once again, thank you, for you and your team’s hard work in making the camp a truly enjoyable and rewarding camp for our daughters!

Katie, I wanted to let you know how glad and excited I am that Carleigh attended your hockey school!  It was an awesome experience for her, she loved it!!  I was extremely impressed with your school as a whole and the personal attention you were giving to the students.  I could really tell that you love what you do.  Your staff was excellent as well, there were very enthusiastic about helping the girls.  The numerous skills stations you had setup was fantastic, it allowed the girls to keep moving, no one was standing around for long periods of time waiting.  With your teaching style and camp structure it makes your camp the best around.

Katie, Thank you and your staff for a great few days! My daughter was excited about the session on battles in the corners! Earlier this week, Ainsley's team played the first place team in her division and low and behold, she won every battle in the corners! Her level of confidence was evident and she wasn't hesitant about what to do and how to do it! Thanks for a great camp.
